Jakub Lachowski and Rafał Lachowski, co-founders of Plantalux, at the hands of professor doctor habilitated Janina Gajc-Wolska received a diploma of appreciation from the Faculty of Horticulture and the Institute of Horticulture at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences for cooperation in the implementation of educational activities.
Plantalux has been conducting research on supplemental lighting in greenhouse with the Warsaw University of Life Sciences since 2019. This winter-spring season is focused on growing cucumber under three different top-lighting options: broad spectrum LED, narrow spectrum LED, and HPS as a control.
